 Staff Continuing Education
Continuing Education Study is an important aspect of staff development. School staff may take advantage of attending an offering of the Association Montessori Internationale’s (AMI) special seminars and refresher courses for practicing Montessori teachers. When this occurs, the parent body will be notified 30 days in advance as the school will be closed to enable staff attendance.

Interaction Between Parents and School
Contact between parents and teacher is an important aspect of you and your child’s development and education.

This is accomplished in several ways: 1) In person, the staff is available to receive parental inquiry and input Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. to 8:20 a.m. and 3:15 p.m to 4:15 p.m. at the school office. 2) By phone, please leave your message as to your purpose and a number where you can be reached. We will return your call after 3:15 p.m. of that day or the next. 3.) Reporting conferences, to discuss your child’s general development and needs. Appointments are accepted after school hours and may be made by parents or teacher at any time. Be assured, parents are called regarding the occasional developmental moment that would be helpful to share with the family and we encourage parents to do the same. When advisable, a conference with the child’s parents will be requested. Parents are always welcome to ask for a conference should they feel it could be of help.
